Botanical Paperworks Review and Giveaway

Being in college, the amount of paper we use is pretty ridiculous. I feel bad because I take pages of notes then never do anything with the papers again. I wish I could someone recycle the paper or make new paper out of it, but I haven’t mastered that yet. The creators over at Botanical Paperworks, however, have gotten the hang of the art of doing something useful with paper, as well as adding a spin to it – they have managed to embed their paper with wildflower seeds so that when you are done using it, you can plant the paper and wildflowers will grow! They make all sorts of paper goods, such as business cards, coasters, and journals. The flowers that bloom from these pages are beautiful, I was shocked when I saw the photo gallery of the different flowers that sprouted from the paper! All you do is place the plantable paper in a thin layer of soil, water, and place in a sunny corner.

My personal favorite was the journal, so I got the opportunity to try one of them. They are printed with the words “Think & Write & Grow” on the front, which pretty much tell you what you should do with the journal. There are pictures of flowers printed on the cover, and the cover of the journal is embedded with seeds so it’s very textured. It comes with a cute little tie-closure on the front, and you can even see the seeds! The pages of the journal are recycled, and the back cover of the journal is also plantable. It is the perfect size to fit in a large purse and has 150 pages. It’s so pretty I don’t even want to tear the covers off to plant! Looks like I’ll have to get another product from them that I wouldn’t mind planting.

Botanical Paperworks is helping the environment while making beautiful paper goods for us to use. I will definitely make purchases from them to help them on their quest to be eco-friendly while making beneficial products!

Botanical Paperworks is giving away one of their plantable journals to one lucky reader of The Army Wife. Grow pretty flowers while keeping all your thoughts neatly organized and being eco-friendly!
